2. Once I pass the course, how do I become licensed?

In addition to enrolling in an Illinois real estate school and completing the 90-hour Transactions Course, Brokers are required to meet the following conditions:

• Be a high school graduate or equivalent (G.E.D.)
• Be 21 years of age (or age 18 if he or she has satisfied certain post-secondary school requirements)
• Pass the State Licensing Exam
• Be sponsored by a Licensed Managing Broker

**This course is approved by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation**
